Music and organ building
Only the best wood is suitable for the most beautiful and purest instruments. Grain, structure, growth density, dryness and quality are elements that should be carefully considered when supplying wood for this beautiful craft.
It requires “Fingerspitzengefühl” to select the right trunks for the instruments. Together with the instrument builders the purchased trunks are inspected and viewed. Subsequently the trunks are sawed and stacked so the wood can thoroughly dry in the wind. After a while the trunk are dried artificially at the required humidity percentage.
