PEFC™ is the worldwide quality mark for durable forest management and has as objective that all forest in the world are managed durable.

How does PEFC work from forest to end product?

By certification of forest management, forest owners can show that they manage their forest in a durable manner according the requirements of PEFC. From a certified forest, PEFC certified wood is harvested.

PEFC Chain of Custody certified companies in the chain process the wood with the PEFC quality mark in products. Therefore, they are allowed to also place the logo on the product. H. Oude Engel GmbH has its own PEFC quality mark.

The PEFC quality mark provides the assurance that wood products originate from a durable managed forest, whereby there is just as much attention for people, planet & profit.
